Effective for all charters booked through San Blas Yacht Club. For the full deposit, balance, and cancellation schedule, see the Booking & Cancellation Policy.
A reservation is confirmed only once we receive the 20% deposit (or full payment) specified at checkout. Rates, dates, and vessel are held once the deposit clears. Full deposit, balance, pre-authorization, and payment-method details are set out in our Booking & Cancellation Policy, which you acknowledge at checkout.
Deposits are paid by credit card; the balance may be settled by bank transfer or cash (5% discount) or by card. The full schedule — pre-authorization timing, the refundable security hold, and bank-transfer fee responsibility — is set out in our Booking & Cancellation Policy. In case of any difference between these Terms and that Policy, the Booking & Cancellation Policy governs all payment and cancellation matters.
Cancel 25 days or more before boarding and we retain the 20% deposit, held as credit toward another charter with us within 24 months if you rebook. Cancellations less than 25 days before boarding are non-refundable, and no refund or credit applies to a no-show. The complete cancellation terms are set out in our Booking & Cancellation Policy, which governs in the event of any difference.
We strongly recommend guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, delay, and unforeseen medical or personal circumstances.
Guest safety comes first. In the event of severe weather, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our control, we may adjust the itinerary, reschedule, or provide a comparable alternative vessel. Such adjustments do not entitle the client to a refund when made for safety, legal, or operational reasons.
Guests must follow the captain and crew's safety briefings and instructions at all times. Damage to the vessel or its equipment caused by guest negligence, misconduct, or failure to follow crew instructions may result in additional charges. A refundable $1,000 hold is placed on the lead guest's card before boarding and released after disembarkation; please tell the crew immediately about any spill, mark, or breakage, as we can usually remedy it on the spot at no cost to you. Full details are set out in our Booking & Cancellation Policy.
While we maintain rigorous safety, maintenance, and hospitality standards across the fleet, San Blas Yacht Club is not liable for personal accidents, itinerary delays, loss or damage of personal belongings, or disruptions arising from third-party services or natural conditions beyond our reasonable control.
